Hidden in arch-shaped rocks, 4 jammers must sit on specific parts of the rock to create an arrow, showing the way to the next formation of rock. For collection a silver shard, jammers attain 7 courage points. To get a chest of these special shards, jammers must collect 15 shards. Embedded in cacti, jammers must sit on cacti with golden talons that lay on top of these special plants. For collecting a blue shard, you will attain 10 courage points. To get a chest of these certain shards, jammers must collect 20 of these shards. These shards lay hidden in dried up oases that jammers must collect only by filling up the dried oasis with a watering can. ![]() For picking a yellow shard up, you will attain 5 courage points. To get a chest of these certain shards, jammers must collect 25 of these gems. These shards lay hidden underneath the ground, or inside of the bodies of water in this adventure. For picking a green shard up, you will attain 3 courage points. To get a chest for these certain shards, jammers must collect 25 of these gems. These shards lay on the ground, or on the surface of a body of water. ![]() The time limit for 3-4 players is 15 minutes. The time limit for 1-2 players is 17 minutes. The Forgotten Desert is a member's only adventure, so if a non-member flying animal was released, it wouldn't be able to play. ![]() It is the first, yet only flying animal adventure released. The Forgotten Desert was released to Animal Jam on May 15, 2014. Jammers have to collect all of the hidden Shards before the timer runs out, or the phantoms come back from switching guards. Jammers must collect the missing Shards that the phantoms destroyed to form the 5 crystals that could restore the land. Meanwhile the phantoms who guarded the land were changing guards, giving jammers a small amount of time to explore. Liza explains that the phantoms destroyed 5 crystals that once protected the land you were in, causing the land to turn to desert. The adventure starts when you are greeted by Liza, the panda Alpha, standing on top of a rock formation next to the portal you can leave with.
